Requirements
You need a computer with the host, a phone with the app, and both on the same network.
On your computer
- macOS 14 or later
- Windows 10 or 11 (x64)
- Linux x64 (AppImage or .deb)
On your phone
- iPhone or iPad with iOS 16 or later (Dokki Live: iOS 17)
- Android 7.0 or later
The network
- Phone and computer on the same Wi-Fi or wired network
- Or your phone sharing its connection over a USB cable
- Guest networks usually keep devices apart
How it works
Three steps, once. After that, your phone reconnects by itself.

Install the host on your computer
Download Dokki for macOS, Windows or Linux. It sits in the menu bar or system tray and shows you a pairing PIN.

Open Dokki on your phone
With your phone and computer on the same network, the app finds your computer on its own. If it does not, you can type its address.

Enter the PIN
Type the PIN the host shows. From then on, that phone stays paired and you can set up your dock.
