Use cases

Built for what you do.

Coding with AI, streaming, working, designing or kicking back on the couch: the same phone becomes the right tool for every moment.

A phone listing coding sessions: one highlighted in amber because it is waiting on you, two in green still working, usage limit bars and a button to open the terminal

Developers using AI

Your agents, your CI and your deploys, one glance away.

You have three Claude Code sessions and a Codex run going while you grab a coffee. Your phone shows which one is waiting on you, how much of your usage limit is left and whether CI just went red on your branch. Answer the agent, re-run the failed job or roll back the deploy before the coffee is ready.

  • Claude Code and Codex sessions waiting on you
  • CI, PRs, deploys and incidents across 34 developer services
  • Real terminals: attach images from your phone to your agents
  • Usage limits at a glance
  • The exact command first, then Face ID or your fingerprint for risky actions
A landscape tablet showing Dokki’s Streamer Mode: three OBS scenes with thumbnails, the live one outlined in red, an audio mixer with level meters, soundboard pads and a press-and-hold go-live button

Streamers and creators

Your Stream Deck, without buying one.

You’re live and chat wants the other camera. One tap on your phone switches scenes while you watch their live thumbnails, another lowers the music in the mixer, and the soundboard drops the applause. Going live or ending the stream takes a press and hold, so a stray touch never puts you on air by accident.

  • OBS scenes with live thumbnails
  • Audio mixer with meters, plus soundboard
  • Hold to go live or record
  • Discord mute
  • Buttons with hotkeys, macros and folders
A monitor with two windows snapped side by side and, in front, a phone with a large Work Mode button plus buttons for windows, microphone and focus

Work and productivity

Your work setup, ready in one tap.

You sit down, tap Work Mode, and mail, calendar and Slack open with every window in its place. Before the meeting you snap the doc to one side and the call to the other, and a single button mutes your mic without hunting for it.

  • Work Mode
  • Switch and snap windows
  • Hotkeys for your meetings
An iPad with a stroke drawn by Apple Pencil and, in front, a phone showing the open app’s profile with pen, brush, crop and undo buttons

Design and editing

Every app’s shortcuts, nothing to memorize.

You open Figma and the phone switches to your Figma buttons on its own; move to Photoshop or Premiere and theirs appear: brush, crop, undo, cut on the timeline. And with Dokki Screen, your iPad becomes a second display for your Mac where you draw with Apple Pencil.

  • Per-app profiles that switch on their own
  • Hotkeys and macros
  • Dokki Screen with Apple Pencil
A phone showing the song that is playing, with album art, a progress bar, previous, pause and next buttons and a volume slider

Music and home

Control your computer’s music from the couch.

Your computer is hooked up to the speakers across the room. From the couch you see what’s playing, skip the track and turn it up, and when you want another album, your phone becomes the touchpad and keyboard.

  • Now playing, with controls
  • Volume and brightness
  • Touchpad and keyboard
A projector screen with a slide and a bar chart, a red pointer dot and, in front, a phone with big previous and next buttons and a touchpad area

Presentations and classes

Your slides, in the palm of your hand.

No extra clicker needed: stand in front of the room with your phone, change slides with big buttons and point with the touchpad. If the venue’s Wi-Fi won’t let you connect, plug in the cable and carry on.

  • Previous and next buttons
  • Touchpad as a pointer
  • Over Wi-Fi or cable
A phone with four large app icons on one side and, on the other, a touchpad area with three fingers swiping

Accessibility

Big buttons and simple gestures, made to fit you.

If the mouse gets hard to use, the phone helps: choose four big icons per page, use the whole screen as a touchpad with three- and four-finger gestures and type on the keyboard you already know. Siri, Shortcuts and Control Center work too.

  • Big icons, 4 to 8 per page
  • Touchpad with 3- and 4-finger gestures
  • Siri, Shortcuts and Control Center

How it works

How it works Three steps, once. After that, your phone reconnects by itself.

  1. Download Dokki for macOS, Windows or Linux. It sits in the menu bar or system tray and shows you a pairing PIN.

What's new

Much more than a dock.

Your CI and deploys, terminals that tell you when they finish and take images from your phone, your computer's files, your dev ports and Git one tap away, and your agents in the Dynamic Island. All of this is in Dokki today.

A phone showing Dokki's Cloud: a red Needs attention card for a failed CI run with a Re-run button, a green card below it for a finished deploy, and a grid of service icons.

Developer mode · Cloud

Your CI, deploys and incidents, on your phone.

Cloud uses the CLIs you're already signed in to on your computer, like gh, vercel, wrangler, aws and kubectl, so there's nothing new to connect. 34 services, from GitHub Actions and Vercel to Sentry, PagerDuty and Stripe, with a home that puts what's red right now on top.

  • Needs attention comes first: the failing run, the broken deploy, the open incident or the alerting monitor, one tap away
  • GitHub and GitLab: re-run failed jobs, read the diff, approve and merge; Create PR drafts the title and body with Claude Code or Codex
  • Deploys and rollbacks on Vercel, Railway, Cloudflare, Netlify, Fly.io, Render, Heroku, DigitalOcean, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Firebase, Supabase, Expo EAS and Shorebird
  • Plus Kubernetes and Helm, Docker, Neon, MongoDB Atlas, Jira and your package.json scripts, with read-only views for Terraform, Pulumi, PlanetScale, Datadog, App Store Connect, Google Play and Crashlytics
  • Every action opens a sheet with the exact command first, and risky ones ask for Face ID or your fingerprint. --force, --admin, deletes and secrets never run from the phone

And just landed.

Ten more new things, on Mac, Windows and Linux, with iPhone, iPad and Android.

  • Dokki Screen

Jump between your monitors from your phone.

Mirroring your computer on your phone? Pick which monitor to view from a map of your setup, or swipe sideways with three fingers to switch to the next one.

    • Works the same over Wi-Fi, the USB cable and Dokki Remote
    • Your pick is remembered for each computer, and an unplugged monitor falls back to the main one
    • On Mac, Windows and Linux with X11; on Wayland, the system's screen-sharing prompt asks which screen to share
  • Tailscale

Already on Tailscale? Dokki can use it.

Turn on one switch in Studio and, away from your desk, your phone can reach your computer over your tailnet. Dokki measures each path and keeps the fastest: the cable, Wi-Fi, your tailnet or Dokki Remote.

    • Off by default: while it's off, Dokki doesn't read or probe Tailscale at all
    • The address is never trusted on its own: your computer proves who it is before your phone sends anything
    • The connection chip says Tailscale when it's the path in use
  • Focus

Act on the window in front.

Focus follows the active window on your computer, with no live video, and gives you its controls: snap it to a side, minimize or close it, cycle through the app's windows or trigger the app's own shortcuts.

    • A list of your open windows, and one snapshot of the window when you ask for it
    • A page of your dock on any phone, and the second half on a foldable
    • Private windows show no title, keys or snapshot
  • Onda

A home made for one thumb.

Onda turns your home into one big list: your buttons first, then every app on the computer from A to Z. Slide your thumb along the letter rail and the letters swell like a wave while the list jumps.

    • A light haptic tick under your thumb at each letter, and a tap opens the app on your computer
    • The rail goes on the left or the right, for either hand
    • Works with VoiceOver and TalkBack; with reduced motion it jumps without the wave
  • Activity monitor

See how your computer is doing from the couch.

Total and per-core CPU, memory, network, disk, GPU, battery and temperature, live, with the last minute in a chart.

    • The busiest processes, by CPU or by memory
    • Quit or Force quit, with a confirmation and Face ID
    • Optional alerts when the computer slows down
  • Look to focus

Look at a screen and its window comes to the front.

With several screens, your phone's front camera knows which one you're looking at and brings the last window you used there to the front. Calibration takes about 20 seconds.

    • The picture never leaves your phone: only numbers reach the computer
    • It never switches windows while you type, and ⇧⌘G or Ctrl+Alt+G pauses it
    • It's off until you turn it on. iPhone or iPad with Face ID, and Android; on Linux, with X11
  • Automatic screenshots

Your screenshots cross over on their own.

Take a screenshot on your computer and it shows up on your phone to copy, save to Photos or share. Your phone's land on the computer's clipboard and in a folder.

    • Over Wi-Fi or the cable; over Dokki Remote only if you allow it
    • On iPhone, send the last screenshot from the Action button or a shortcut too
    • Each direction has its own switch and starts off
  • Automatic sync

Set it up once and have it on all your devices.

Your buttons, your rules, your phone's preferences, the Modo Dock order and your quiet hours travel on their own between your computers and phones with your Dokki account, end-to-end encrypted.

    • What comes from your trusted computers applies at once, and can be undone
    • Every change is signed by the computer that made it
    • Your PIN, your keys, your sessions and your terminal history never travel, and syncing never grants a permission
  • Browser extension

    Your tabs, on your phone.

The Dokki extension for Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc and Vivaldi brings your tabs to your phone: switch, close, pin, mute, move or reopen the one you just closed.

    • Send a tab to your phone and pick up where you were: the same spot on the page or the same minute of the video
    • Control the music or video in any tab from the dock and its media keys
    • Each feature asks for its own permission, and incognito windows stay hidden unless you allow them
  • Dokki Remote on 5G

Away from home, Wi-Fi and 5G at once.

Dokki Remote opens one direct path over Wi-Fi and another over mobile data. If one fails, the picture moves to the other without restarting the session.

    • What's urgent, like your taps, your keys and keyframes, travels on both paths
    • Error correction rebuilds a lost packet without waiting for a resend, and only kicks in when there's loss
    • "Mobile data backup" is a switch, and the connection chip shows which path is in use

What Dokki is

What you can do Made for the phone that sits next to your keyboard: big, landscape and one tap away.

Dokki comes in two parts. The host is a small app that lives in your Mac menu bar or your Windows or Linux system tray. The phone app shows a landscape dock with the apps you choose.

Tap an icon and the app opens on your computer. Swipe up for the touchpad, keyboard, sound controls and screen capture. Your phone talks straight to your computer over your network, with no required account or server in between.

  • A dock with your apps, on the phone beside you
  • A remote for sound, display and cursor
  • Everything stays inside your home or office
  • Your apps, with their real icons

Pin the apps you use and open them on your computer with one tap. If they are already open, Dokki brings them to the front.

  • Presets and most-used apps

Keep different docks for work, study or play and switch between them with one tap. Dokki suggests the apps you open most.

  • Volume, media, brightness and power

Turn the volume up, pause the music, skip a song, dim the screen or lock it without leaving what you are doing.

  • Remote touchpad

Use your whole phone screen as a touchpad: move, click, drag, scroll with two fingers and zoom.

  • Remote keyboard

Type on your computer with your phone keyboard, emoji included. Handy from the couch.

  • Screenshots and screen recording

Take a screenshot or record your main display from your phone. Files are saved on your computer.

  • Remote access

Away from home, Dokki Remote takes your dock to your computer through an end-to-end encrypted relay. You turn it on in Studio; it uses the optional account and is off by default.

  • Alerts on your phone

Push notifications on iPhone and Android when an agent is waiting for you, fails or finishes. Tap one and that session opens on the right computer.

  • OBS, Discord, Twitch and more

Streamer Mode controls OBS, Discord and Twitch chat, and there are buttons for Home Assistant, Philips Hue and your games from Steam and other launchers.

Privacy

Local by design

Your phone talks straight to your computer over your local network. Your apps, captures and what you type travel only between your devices, never through Dokki servers.

  • No account needed

Everything works on your local network: install, pair and you are done. We do not ask for an email, a password or a sign-up.

  • Encrypted sync, if you want it

With the optional account, your docks sync between computers, end-to-end encrypted: not even we can read them.

  • PIN pairing

Only a phone that entered your computer’s PIN can send it commands.

  • Permissions with one job

System permissions are used only to carry out what you ask from a paired phone.

  • Remote access no one else can read

With Dokki Remote, your computer dials out and nothing listens on the internet. The relay only passes end-to-end encrypted data, and removing a phone in Studio cuts its sessions at once.

  • Secrets kept out of screenshots

On the Mac, the Studio window can't be captured while it shows a PIN, a QR code or a key. And what reaches your phone from your agents travels with tokens and passwords masked.

The app

Which coding agents work with Dokki?

Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode: Dokki shows their sessions, their conversations in the Inbox and what they ask you, and you can answer from your phone. Antigravity shows up with its status and its menus are tappable in the terminal. You can attach images from your phone to Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Antigravity and OpenCode in a Dokki terminal. Dokki's MCP server works with Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Antigravity and Cursor.

Which services does Cloud work with?

34 so far, through the command-line tools already signed in on your computer: GitHub (Actions and PRs), GitLab, Vercel, Railway, Cloudflare, Netlify, Fly.io, Render, Heroku, DigitalOcean, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Firebase, Supabase, Expo EAS, Shorebird, Kubernetes and Helm, Docker, Sentry, PagerDuty, Stripe, Neon, MongoDB Atlas, Jira and your package.json scripts, plus read-only views for Terraform, Pulumi, Datadog, PlanetScale, App Store Connect, Google Play and Crashlytics. Dokki never installs a CLI or signs in for you: if one is missing or signed out, Cloud shows the exact command to run on your computer.

Do I need to be on the same network?

Not always. At home, your phone talks to your computer over your Wi-Fi or wired network, or over the USB cable. Away from home, you can turn on Dokki Remote in Studio: it uses the optional account and an end-to-end encrypted relay, only for phones you already paired. Guest networks and some office networks keep devices apart and can block the local connection.

Can I connect it with a cable?

Yes. If your phone shares its connection with your computer over USB (Personal Hotspot on iPhone or USB tethering on Android), a network is created over the cable and Dokki can use it, with no developer mode or special drivers. On a normal Wi-Fi network the response is already near-instant, so the cable mostly helps when there is no Wi-Fi.

Does it work on foldable phones?

Yes. On iPhone Duo and on book-style foldables such as Galaxy Z Fold and Pixel Fold, Dokki uses each half of the screen on its own and keeps the crease clear. With a Galaxy Z Flip half open on a table, the dock sits on the standing half and the touchpad on the half lying flat.

Privacy and security

Which permissions does it ask for, and why?

On macOS, Dokki asks for Accessibility to move the cursor, type and control the system, and Screen Recording for captures. On Windows it may ask you to allow access on private networks in the firewall. On iPhone, the app asks for Local Network access to find your computer. Permissions are used only for what you ask from a paired phone.

Is it safe? What is the PIN for?

The host only accepts commands from phones that entered its pairing PIN. The PIN is shown on your computer, so someone else on your network cannot control it without seeing it. Change the PIN to disconnect every phone. Use Dokki on networks you trust, like your home or office.

Do I need an account?

No. Everything on your local network works without an account. The account is optional and does two things: remote access with Dokki Remote and syncing your docks between computers, end-to-end encrypted: not even we can read them.

Price and availability

How much does it cost?

Dokki starts with a 14-day free trial; after that it continues as a monthly or yearly subscription. It has no ads, and you do not need an account to use it.

When is it coming out?

The host for macOS, Windows and Linux and the apps for iPhone, iPad and Android are all listed under Downloads. If yours isn't ready to download yet, tap Notify me and we'll email you as soon as it is.
